My mom is the most gracious, generous person I know! Her capacity for loving humbles me and challenges me to be a better person. Even when faced with personal adversity, she is quick to help others with whatever she has, including the best bear hugs in town! This photo was taken the day we shaved her head in preparation for chemotherapy treatments. Even on this day, she was doting on her children and grandchildren and giving us every reason to hope. My mom is a beauty ... and definitely my favorite!
