A Memorial Day To Remember

On May 28th, we honor those who lost their lives in service to country, a sacrifice that touches all of us. We come together with friends and family to remember the heroes particular to us, and also to embrace and enjoy the people in our lives now. Because of the three-day weekend (and the fact that Memorial Day is widely considered to be the beginning bookend of summer), many of us will be spending time outdoors, attending parades, hosting backyard barbecues or simply throwing the football around in the fresh air. Stadium Flowers thinks it's the perfect time to spruce up your outdoor space. Read More about A Memorial Day To Remember »

Teachers And Nurses Appreciation In Flowers

There are many unofficial observances and celebrations throughout the year, but it isn’t often that we come upon a month during which two of those occasions occur at roughly the same time. And it's more significant when the professions we honor then are service professions that require people who work in these fields, to give so much of themselves to help others. We’re talking about Nurses’ and Teachers’ Weeks. Nurses’ Week starts on Sunday, May 6, 2018, and continues until Saturday, May 12, 2018. The reason that a week-long celebration honoring nurses ends when it does is that that’s the birthdate of Florence Nightengale, the founder of modern professional nursing. National Teachers’ Week takes place takes place between May 7, 2018, and May 11, 2018. The designated National Teachers Day is May 8, 2018. We honor people in both professions for their dedication and tireless efforts to help people in ways that improve the quality of lives. Stadium Flowers encourages people in our community to recognize, honor, and celebrate nurses and teachers who made an impact in your lives, or the lives of your family members. The Scent Of Spring In Flowers

We’re finally on Daylight Savings time, and even though spring hasn't arrived yet, the Seattle area is experiencing much milder weather than most of the rest of the country, and we’re grateful for that. But even though we’re not dealing with a seemingly never-ending onslaught of winter storms, the low nighttime temperatures are still cold enough that we can’t let our guard down hoping to see a panorama of spring blooming flowers. When you’re desperate for the scent of spring flowers in full bloom, you can always count on the experienced team of creative floral designers at Stadium Flowers to bring you a variety of spring flower arrangements from which to choose for your home or business. The Essential Spring Tulip

March 20 marks the official first day of spring. It is also the date on which the Vernal or Spring Equinox occurs. Although we’d like to think that the first date of spring coincides with the end of cold wintry weather, the date has more to do with the rotational axis of the earth and its relationship to the sun. Fortunately, our Seattle area customers are in luck because regardless of what Mother Nature does or says, you can count on Stadium Flowers to bring you a spectacular variety of spring’s freshest cut flowers. Send Striking Flowers For International Women’s Day

On March 8, the world celebrates International Women’s Day. It is an occasion for supporting activism and promoting gender equality both globally, and on the local level. We never hesitate to think about sending flowers to women for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and major holidays. Our lives are so busy that we often forget to think about little things - even when those small things like random gifts of flowers can have the most significant impact on the recipient. The Stadium Flowers team believes that celebrating women’s accomplishments and efforts on International Women’s Day is one of those times when flowers show true respect and appreciation.
